DK Company’s recently launched new fashion brand MY ESSENTIAL WARDROBE highlights the importance of creating a sustainable wardrobe. The brand will focus on a sustainable production process, but also on the relationship between people and their clothes. MY ESSENTIAL WARDROBE is going to create long-lasting styles, which the consumer can use for many years to come, hereby aspiring to change the buy-and-throw-away-culture. The brand aims to act responsibly towards the environment and to be a key contributor to the re-thinking of the whole fashion industry. Their product life cycle is connected with that goal so that the effort put into a product - design/production/transport is no longer than the product’s lifespan when used by the end-consumer. MY ESSENTIAL WARDROBE’S goal is to work with 75 % of sustainable fibers in their products by 2025.
