Copenhagen Fashion Week launched its first annual sustainability report during last week’s festival.
The report is outlining a 2020-2022 Sustainability Action Plan, that sets out to incur far-reaching and long-term change within the fashion industry, such as the ambition requiring designers to comply with minimum 17 sustainability standards by 2023.
“Every fashion week around, big and small, should be requiring a minimum level of sustainability from their participating brands.”
- Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO of Copenhagen Fashion Week.
