About Superkilen

Superkilen is split into three distinct color-themed sections: TheRed Square (Den Røde Plads), The Black Square (Den Sorte Plads), and The GreenPark (Den Grønne Park). Within its bounds, over 100 objects have been curated and sourced from 60 different corners of the globe. Among these are notable features such as a playful Japanese octopus slide, bicycleracks hailing from Finland, elegant palm trees imported from China, and soil collected from Palestine.

Collectively, these elements transform Superkilen into an urban mosaic, celebrating global diversity. Crafted through a collaborative effort between Superflex, Topotek1, and BIG, in collboration with input from local residents and pioneers, this space emerges as more than just a park—it's a dynamic nexus of cultural exchange and communal engagement.
