3daysofdesign is Denmark’s biggest annual design event, a hub for international innovation and inspiration in lifestyle, lighting, furniture and interior design. During 3daysofdesign, Bådteatret (The Boat Theatre) docked in Nyhavn will be transformed into a design destination. Set against the backdrop of Copenhagen’s harbour, the Design Dock invites visitors on board for a curated exhibition and events programme that celebrates the diversity, depth, and future direction of Danish design.
From 18 - 20 June, Design Dock will serve as an open and welcoming platform for experiencing contemporary Danish design up close. Visitors are invited to explore a curated exhibition where craftsmanship, material innovation, and storytelling unfold in a space designed for both quiet reflection and lively conversation. Alongside the exhibition, a program of talks and receptions is designed to spark dialogue, creative exchange and new international connections.
The exhibition is part of 3daysofdesign, Denmark’s leading annual design festival. Each year, Copenhagen becomes a city-wide showcase of creativity, where professionals, press and design lovers from around the world gather to discover new ideas, products and perspectives. From showrooms and studios to galleries and pop-ups, the festival offers direct access to the minds shaping design today, set against the everyday beauty of Danish urban life.
Design Dock adds to this landscape as a floating space for exploration, shaped by collaboration and curiosity.
