Danish design returns to Seoul Living Design Fair with a curated group exhibition that reflects the global relevance of Danish design today. ‘Room for Danish Design’ presents Danish design as both a cultural legacy and an active force shaping contemporary living. The exhibition highlights how Danish brands continue to translate long-standing values into solutions that resonate across markets and cultures.

Room for Danish Design
Danish design is globally recognised for its clarity of purpose and vision, translating craftsmanship, aesthetics, and human centricity into lasting value. These principles resonate strongly in South Korea, where quality, integrity, and thoughtful innovation shape contemporary design culture. As a way of thinking rather than a fixed style, Danish design adapts to new needs while remaining grounded in core values, which makes it both familiar and relevant in a Korean context.
This shared mindset forms the foundation of Room for Danish Design at Seoul Living Design Fair 2026. Curated by Lærke Ryom, the exhibition brings seven Danish brands together within a unified spatial framework that balances individuality and cohesion. Subtle shifts in tones and textures define distinct zones without creating visual noise. Spatial logic reduces complexity and establishes a calm rhythm across the exhibition, reinforcing a collective presence while allowing each brand’s perspective to unfold clearly.
Exhibiting brands and programme
From February 25th to March 1st, seven Danish design brands will exhibit at Room for Danish Design, each presenting a unique perspective on contemporary living.
The exhibition programme will be updated continuously.

Fauske Marble by Moser operates a historic quarry that offers 15 distinct marble varieties. Each block’s natural diversity, unique colours, patterns, and character reflect the region’s geology.
FRIENDS & FOUNDERS creates contemporary designs with a strong focus on architecture and craft. Their timeless pieces are guided by the simplicity of artistic minimalism.
Georg Jensen Damask is one of the oldest design houses in Denmark. Combining beauty and functionality, their products are both contemporary and traditional.
JL Møller’s dining pieces are crafted around concepts of elegance and longevity, created with high-quality materials and artistically rationalised balance.
REEVEIN STUDIOS work with cutting-edge surreal botanical design. Their pieces are conceived with a strong sense of form, material presence, and visual tension.
Silkeborg Uldspinderi is built on decades of expertise. They work with natural fibres and careful processes for a quality that lasts and ages beautifully.
