Clever Café redefines what a stop along the motorway can be. Combining architecture, design and sustainability, Clever has created a new kind of charging station. Built with responsible materials and human-centric principles, this is a spot for people to recharge themselves as well as their cars.
A new standard for how we travel and pause
Clever Café is a new concept developed by Clever, Denmark’s largest charging operator, in collaboration with the award-winning architects from COBE. The idea is simple but ambitious: to transform the roadside break into something meaningful.
For decades, the motorway experience has been about convenience at the cost of quality – fast food, neon light and plastic. Clever Café is the opposite. Built of wood and glass, surrounded by nature and filled with light, it sets a new standard for how we move and pause.
Every detail is designed with purpose. Honest materials. Calm acoustics. Locally sourced food made fresh every morning. A short, high-quality menu, where 90% of the ingredients are organic, and coffee roasted by world champions at the same price you’d pay at a petrol station.
Clever Café is part of a larger vision: to make the green transition tangible and human. By creating physical spaces that care for people, Clever adds emotional value to electric mobility. The café is a physical manifestation of the company’s belief that good energy is not just what powers your car, but also what powers your day.
