As expectations for storytelling continue to evolve, Ouros shows how animation can do far more than entertain. It can help people engage with urgent subjects, feel closer to unfamiliar cultures, or step confidently into new digital formats. The studio’s strength lies in making ambitious ideas accessible without losing depth or artistic quality.

That approach is clear in Biofonia, developed with composer Mathias Madsen Munch. This live concert experience places the audience in the Brazilian rainforest through a close dialogue between music and animation. Created in collaboration with the Guarani people, the work draws on stories and visual references connected to life in the Amazon. It highlights why these communities and ecosystems matter globally, while creating an emotional connection that facts alone rarely achieve. Biofonia was presented at COP30.

Ouros applies the same mindset to emerging technology. In The Dream Anthology, an international co-production led by COLA Animation, the studio created The Ritual, its first XR project. Participants enter a mysterious world where presence and choice shape what unfolds around them. Ouros used its hand-crafted visual language to make the experience feel intuitive, sensory and inviting. The result shows how new technology becomes more meaningful when human experience leads the design.

Across both projects, Ouros Animation represents a wider Danish creative strength: combining artistic excellence with relevance. The studio uses storytelling to build connection and gives audiences new ways to understand the world around them.
