Skjaldborn develops animated stories that extend across platforms, audiences and markets. Combining artistic ambition with audience-driven storytelling and community building, Skjaldborn is rethinking how stories are created, shared and experienced.
With Tales of Alethrion, the animation studio created a global transmedia fantasy universe across animated films, games, comics, merch and interactive content. Built around a non-dialogue storytelling approach, the series is accessible to audiences worldwide. It has cultivated an international community of more than 220,000 followers and raised over $500,000 through crowdfunding.
With HØJ, Skjaldborn reimagines Nordic mythology to create an adventure series for children and families. The show has achieved a rare even audience split between girls and boys, reflecting its broad appeal. With Serious Kids attached as international distributor, HØJ is positioned for a global rollout.
Alongside its original IPs, Skjaldborn delivers commercial and commissioned animation for international clients, broadcasters and partners. This business model supports continued investment in new stories, talent development and long-term growth.
